Our In-House Diagnostic Testing Capabilities
Our on-site laboratory enables us to quickly analyze several types of samples from our patients. Sometimes, we use this equipment to establish and monitor baseline values to keep an eye on our patients’ ongoing health. In other cases, we use this technology to assess organ function and diagnose several types of health problems. We also perform blood work for all surgical patients to make sure they are healthy enough to undergo anesthesia.

- Intestinal parasite testing
- Urinalysis to check for signs of infection or disease
- Complete blood count (CBC) to check for anemia, dehydration, clotting ability, immune system problems, and signs of infection
- Chemistry panels to measure levels of electrolytes, glucose, calcium, enzymes, sodium, potassium, and other substances produced by the internal organs. These tests help us assess organ function.
