The first and more important step is home  dental  care. Brushing your pet’s teeth is just as important as brushing your teeth! Can you imagine if humans only brushed once a week? Gross! Remember to brush their teeth frequently. The more the better!

We take the necessary precautions to make sure that every patient has a thorough exam and comprehensive blood profile. Anesthesia is needed to perform a thorough  dental  examination on your cat or dog and  dental  radiographs (x-rays).  Dental  radiographs will help us determine the severity of the disease. After the  dental  cleaning, your pet will have a clean slate to start from. It is important to brush your pet’s teeth when the veterinarian gives you the indication that it is safe to brush.
